Kondex Corporation has unveiled its new KX7 Pro Series concaves, the next evolution of the Company’s proven KX7 threshing performance. This system is designed to give farmers greater control, flexibility, and performance inside the combine.
Due to the nature of grass seed, harvesting this lightweight crop has historically been challenging. Rotary combines with standard concaves struggled to separate and clean the seed, alongside common issues with hairpinning and plugging.

Kondex representatives recently returned to Australia to gain first-hand validation of its concave success down under. Kondex and its distributor, Harvestaire, visited nearly a dozen different farmers throughout Western Australia, many of whom have used Kondex concaves for multiple seasons.

For the fifth consecutive year, Kondex donated a full set of its KX7 concaves to the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association’s annual online auction. This year’s highest bid came from Ryan Grohmann of New Athens, Illinois.

It seems there’s a day of the year for everything, and when we came across Knife Day (formally celebrated August 24th), we couldn’t resist chiming in on the excitement.
Farmers are known to be early risers, but when it comes to harvesting corn or soybeans, even the early birds have traditionally had a limiting factor on getting in their fields.
