Kondex manufactures sickle sections and assemblies for all major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributors. A sickle assembly, made up of sickle sections and other components, can range from 3 feet to over 40 feet in length. These can be a single assembly for single-drive systems, two assemblies for dual-drive systems, or multiple segmented assemblies that are joined by splice kits for ease of transportation and replacement.
Sickle sections come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and options. While features such as tooth serration, thickness, and finish are more preferential factors, the hole spacing is a critical dimension when replacing sections. Kondex manufactures its sickles and sections to stringent tolerances to ensure an accurate fit. Our engineering and metallurgical teams also work alongside OEMs to provide the ideal strength, durability, and design for an efficient cut and long-lasting use.
