Kondex President Keith Johnson was recently elected to serve on the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) 2024 Board of Directors and re-elected to its Ag Sector Board – each of which holds two-year terms. This marks his first year on the Board of Directors and his third on the Ag Sector Board. On these committees, he’ll provide strategic direction and guidance for AEM initiatives that help its members and the industry succeed. Key action areas include advocacy and public affairs; market information; exhibitions and events; and safety, regulatory, and technical issues. Beyond these recent appointments, Johnson also serves as Chair of AEM’s Component Members Executive Committee and member of its Regulatory Affairs Working Committee.
"We extend a warm welcome to our 2024 officers and new and returning directors and wish to publicly thank them and their companies for steadfastly supporting the Association and its goals," said AEM President Megan Tanel. "AEM's success and growth hinges on the unwavering dedication of its volunteer leadership and the active involvement of its members. Their commitment and contributions are instrumental in propelling the industry forward. Through their engagement, we strive to deliver excellence and provide the most valuable service and programs for our members."
“Kondex has been an AEM member for 25 years, and in this time, we’ve always found value in supporting the Association,” commented Johnson. “The shared voice we and other member companies bring is far more influential collectively than alone in helping ensure the advancement and continued growth of the off-highway industry.”
AEM is the North American-based international trade group representing off-road equipment manufacturers and suppliers, with more than 1,000 companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture and construction-related industry sectors worldwide. It is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with offices in Washington, D.C.; Ottawa, Canada; and Beijing, China.
