Paid Time Off
Start earning PTO on day 1 and roll over up to 80 hours annually, based on years of service! Hourly associates can earn additional PTO throughout the year.

Eligible associates who are unable to work due to short-term or long-term health issues can receive pay continuation at no cost.

Kondex offers in-house training, as well as access to online and off-site courses. Under our tuition reimbursement program, you’ll not only be reimbursed for tuition in earning degrees and certificates aligning with our business, but will also be rewarded with an end-of-year recognition check for completion. These efforts support our desire to advance from within the organization.
As a part of our Kondex family, each associate receives recognition on their anniversary. Other special days are often celebrated in each department. Be careful about who knows your special day; it may lead to surprises!
Kondex hosts a year-end luncheon to thank associates and recognize educational achievements with cash payments.
Each June, Kondex celebrates National Dairy Month with ice cream. For many years, this included a visit from the local ice cream truck vendor. We’re currently partnering with Kelley’s Creamery to offer our associates various flavors in support of our largest industry served – agriculture.
Since 2011, Kondex has been a sponsor of Project GRILL (Growing Readiness in Learning and Leading). Each year, we mentor an area high school in building a working grill from scratch. This program is organized by Envision Greater Fond du Lac.
Food drives and donations to various charities throughout the year are common ways Kondex helps support its community.
Our annual chili/soup cookoff has become a favorite among Kondex associates. In the cool winter months, this tradition is a fun way to heat things up!
Some days are completely unpredictable at Kondex. No one expected a snowball fight to break out on this winter day. Knowing it was instigated by former Kondex President Jim Wessing gave more reason to participate in the fun!
Kondex is a supporting member of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers’ (AEM) I Make America program. It has held several on-site events to help promote manufacturing awareness and support.
Our associates work hard, and those efforts are periodically rewarded in the form of free lunch. From cookouts to catered meals, Kondex offers meals to associates multiple times per year. We also offer monthly catering options for associates to purchase.
We have not had any involuntary layoffs in our manufacturing facility in the long history of the company.
